Summary:
Advanced Physician Services, PC, the Academic Practice of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Bon Secours Charity Health System including Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY, St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. The position will be primarily located in Suffern, NY. The candidate must have strong general surgical pathology diagnostic skills and experience/expertise in management of clinical laboratory. Fellowship training or expertise in Cytopathology and Breast will be preferred. Additional expertise in other major surgical pathology areas will be a plus. Qualification/Requirements:
- Candidates must have an M.D, or M.D./Ph.D (or foreign equivalent degree)
- Possession/eligibility for an unrestricted medical license to practice in New York State
- Possession/eligibility to obtain appropriate Certificates of Qualification (CoQ) for Medical Directorship in New York State.
- Board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Previous experience in directing Pathology/clinical laboratory in hospital setting will be preferred.
- Additional Certification/experience in Cytopathology and Breast will be a plus.
