ChristianaCare is transforming rehabilitation services in the greater Delaware Region, and we are seeking a BC/BE physiatrist to join our dynamic and innovative team at our Newark location.
The physiatrist is responsible for providing clinical care for patients by completing consultations on admitted patients to determine eligibility for admission for acute rehabilitation and assisting with disposition decisions, and for providing clinical care for physical medicine and rehabilitation patients in the ambulatory setting and assisting with patients transitioning from acute rehabilitation back into the community.
ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services:
- Multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, advanced practice clinicians, and nurses.
- PM&R provider will collaborate with other physicians, including neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and others.
- As a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital, we offer specialized care for neurological disorders, stroke, brain injury, and amputation patients.

Qualifications:
- BE/BC Physiatry
- Eligible to obtain license in Delaware and meet credentialing requirements.
