Our Sterile Processing department wants to add a Sterile Processing Tech to their great team. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the importance of sterile processing processes and procedures. Previous sterile processing experience is highly preferred but not needed!

Overview

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.
Central Sterile Processing Department sterilizes the instruments for surgery and other departments and take cases to surgery.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The Sterile Processing Technician performs a variety of central sterile processing functions, which include the decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of sterile surgical instrumentation to the operating room (OR) and other areas throughout the hospital. Required to maintain and control both sterile and non-sterile supplies, and identify and remedy equipment and process failures and hazards while maintaining the appropriate and complete records.
