The Nursing Assistant within this organization functions as a nursing care team member under close supervision and guidance. He/she is responsible for delivering safe, physical and emotional care to residents in a variety of settings, while becoming familiar with technical nursing skills. In this role the NA is tasked with observing and providing care for Veterans through the implementation of assigned interventions. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
