The Supervisory Social Worker has personnel management responsibilities for a small to medium size professional staff. The incumbent is primarily responsible for the professional and administrative management of inpatient social workers assigned to acute medical, surgical, specialty, palliative care and critical care areas. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: Citizenship: Be a citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3g.) Education: Have a master's degree in social work (MSW) from a school of social wor
